About HBCU Bridge
HBCU Bridge is a college-access and immersion program that introduces high school juniors to the academic excellence, culture, sisterhood, and legacy of Spelman College.
More than a traditional campus tour, HBCU Bridge gives students an opportunity to experience what it means to be part of the Spelman community. Through an immersive campus experience, participants gain exposure to college academics, student life, campus traditions, leadership, and the possibilities that come with pursuing a Spelman education.
Our goal is to help students go beyond simply imagining themselves in college and begin seeing themselves there—prepared, confident, and inspired to take the next steps toward their future.
HBCU Bridge also introduces students to the history and significance of the HBCU experience through one of its most distinguished institutions, connecting today's students with generations of women who have pursued excellence, leadership, service, and change.

Bridging Today’s Students to Tomorrow’s Legacy.
Basic eligibility: Girl high school juniors, appropriate academic standing, parent/guardian permission, ability to participate for the full program day, and genuine interest in exploring Spelman College or another HBCU.
